After qualifying in 1986 as Master in Laws from a Belgian University, Michael went on to specialize in International and European law in The Netherlands.

His career of more than 30 years has grown in scope and size, whilst handling both legal matters and Employee Relations.

Michael has served in Europe for 20 years (Belgium, Luxemburg, France) and the Middle East since 2007 (UAE, Qatar, Oman) as HR Manager before starting his own consulting practice in People Management and Employment law.

Employers and Clients comprise large MNC’s such as Daimler Mercedes Benz, Chrysler, Jeep, Ladbrokes (Hilton Group), Besix, China Petroleum Engineering, and Construction.

As Managing Partner with Haiwai Solutions Consulting, Michael focuses on Employee Relations, HR Quality and Risk management, Employment Law, and Organizational Transformation.

Today, Michael shares his time between Dubai and Montreal (Canada) and continues to support clients around the world.
